A Highworth pub is hosting a beer festival this bank holiday weekend showcasing a range of cask ales and ciders.
The Goldfinger Tavern on Newburgh Place is inviting beer and cider lovers to drop in from Friday, 26 to Monday, 29 August to try something new.
Ian and Roz Tomkins, landlord and lady of the pub said: “We always have a good range of cask ales and ciders, but this special beer festival is a chance for our customers to try something they might not have had before. We will have at least 10 cask ales on tap and a wide range traditional ciders, some people will have heard of and others perhaps not so.”
“We are also offering 1/3 pint taster glasses, to give people an opportunity to try more of the beer on offer.”
The wide range of beers being brought in for the festival include Rum Runner, Rombald, Mighty Moose and Butcombe Bitter, as well as stocking some local cider favourites, including Wyrde, Hog Farther and Bee Sting.
As well as the beers and ciders, there will also be live music and inflatable obstacle courses for the kids to enjoy.
